1、The light-colorable grade reliably meets the household appliance standard IEC 60335-1 (glow-wire test, GWIT 800°C at 1 millimeter) and provides a particularly high flowability. The new flame retardant system used in Ultramid? B3U50G6 is not halogen-based and contains no antimony compounds. This allows to achieve good values with regard to smoke density and smoke toxicity as well as to comply with WEEE and ROHS directives. Ultramid? B3U50G6, which is 30 percent glass-fiber reinforced, achieves the classification V0 (according to UL94) starting at a thickness of 0.8 millimeters.
 
2、The Ultramid? A3X-grades combine excellent mechanical and tribological properties with high tracking resistance and good fire performance. They meet the requirements of UL94 V-0 and 5VA and display the best flame-retardant additive stability in their material class. The comparative tracking index (CTI) according to IEC 60112 can reach up to 600. Besides, the products can be processed easily and have a good ecological record.
 
3、Ultramid? A3U32 meets the requirements of UL 94 V-0 with a thickness of only 0.25 mm, it is therefore especially suitable for electrical insulating parts with thin walls. Furthermore, Ultramid? A3U32 can be processed easily and has high results in RTI.
 
4、The new material meets UL 94 requirements for the V-0 flammability class at wall thicknesses as low as 0.4 millimeters. Its thermal ageing resistance has been considerably improved over that of well-known glass fiber-filled polyamide grades. With an RTI for dielectric strength (UL 746B) of 140 °C at a wall thickness of 0.4 millimeters and even 150 °C at thicknesses starting at 0.75 millimeters, the new Ultramid? A3U42G6 is especially well suited for use at higher temperatures. The new flame retardant system shows no migration effects and thus ensures component surfaces of higher quality.
 
5、Due to its high melting point of 295 °C, the partially aromatic product Ultramid? T KR 4340 G6 (PA 6 / 6T GF30 FR) is suitable for applications such as modern soldering processes using lead-free solder at elevated temperatures. Ultramid? T KR 4340 G6 is also light colorable.
